Pricing questions
How is pricing calculated?
By the number of unique visitors your site gets per month — the metric that actually reflects your scale. Free covers 300, Starter 1,000, Growth 3,000, Scale 10,000 and Business 50,000. Each plan also includes a generous allowance of analytics events and AI assistant runs. You move up a tier as your traffic grows.
What counts as a "unique visitor"?
A distinct person visiting your site in the calendar month, deduplicated across all their sessions (cookieless, bot traffic excluded). It’s the same number you see on your Users tab.
What are AI runs, and what happens if I run out?
An AI run is one task for the Head-of-BI assistant — a chat answer, an Insights deep-dive, a CLI or MCP-endpoint call. Free includes one prompt a day; paid plans include a monthly pool (100 → 5,000). Bringing your own model key makes those runs effectively free on our side, so heavy users lean on BYOK.
How does overage work?
Off by default. When you turn it on in Settings → Billing, going past your included unique visitors, events or AI runs is billed at a small metered rate — $15 per extra 1,000 visitors, $3 per extra 1,000 events, $0.05 per extra AI run — shown live in your usage dashboard. With overage off, you simply hit a soft cap and upgrade when ready. Free always stops at its limit.
How do seats and extra seats work?
Each paid plan includes seats (1 / 3 / 5 / 10). Need more? Add extra seats for $19/month each — no need to jump a whole tier just for headcount.
Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the billing portal at any time. Changes are prorated by Stripe, and there are no long-term contracts on the self-serve tiers.
