What you get
BusinessMCP turns your whole company into one AI-ready data platform. You connect your tools and install one script; we unify everything into one hosted MCP server plus a business-intelligence dashboard. You consume it two ways from the same data: the cloud Assistant (a Head-of-BI AI you chat with) and your own MCP endpoint (the same data + tools exposed to any external AI agent). This guide gets both working.
1. Create your workspace
Sign up and complete the short onboarding wizard — your business name, website, and goals. This provisions your workspace, your first-party analytics tracker, and your MCP endpoint. You will land on the install step at the end.
2. Install the tracking script
This is the only required step. Paste your tracker snippet before </head> on every page of your site:

3. Connect your tools
Open Connections and connect what you use — Stripe, Google Search Console, GitHub, Slack, your ad platforms, HubSpot, Shopify, Zendesk, and more. Each connection becomes a set of namespaced agent tools (like github_read_file or shopify_recent_orders) available to the Assistant, your MCP endpoint and the CLI. 4. Ask the Assistant
Open Assistant and ask a real question — "How did conversions trend this month and which channel drove them?" The AI reads your live first-party data (see The data you can query), cites real numbers, and only takes actions (like sending an email) with your approval. The Insights feed surfaces growth nudges automatically.
5. Connect an external agent
Your business is also its own MCP server. Grab a Bearer mcph_* key from Settings → API & Vault and point any MCP client — Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini — at:

Frequently asked questions
What is the one thing I have to do?
Install the tracking script. It is the only required step — it turns on first-party analytics, heatmaps and session replay, which power everything the Assistant and your MCP endpoint can see about visitor behaviour. Every other connection is optional and additive.
Do I need to be technical?
No. Connecting tools is OAuth or paste-an-API-key. Installing the script is one <script> tag. Pointing an AI client at your endpoint is pasting a URL and a key into a config file.
